Teso Dos Bichos

Oh.. boy..

Well... I dig the sort of Curse of the Mummy idea here; they even could have done something with it. And South American use of erm... pharmaceuticals (?) has potential for a good X-File too. I even thought they might be going somewhere with it, with the Jaguar's-eye view of Mulder in the woods...

But instead they went with a rat infestation and rabid cats in the sewer... call the SPCA!

There were a couple of bright spots. Let me find them for you.

Mulder's repeated "Go with it, Scully", first with the theory, then with her accusation of drug use to come up with his crazy theory... That was pretty cute  :)

Or the police officer with the evidence bag;

S: Label that.
OFFICER: As what?
S: ('well duh' tone of voice) Partial rat body part.(hello)

Or when an intestine in a tree drips blood on Mulder's face; Scully wipes it off then Mulder notices what is was... his 'ew gross' face is hilarious.

Autopsy scenes are kind of hot. Mulder always stands too close, Scully's scrubs are always loose, and he always gives his full full attention/defers completely to Scully because she's the expert.

When their investigation leads them to the entrance of the deep dark mysterious underground tunnels, Mulder balks. I think he's afraid of the rats..

M: Only one way in.
S: And one way out.
M: (hopefully) Ladies first?

Oh a true gentleman! LOL. Scully just shakes her head 'no chance'.

The climax is when M & S are chased by a multitude of angry cats.  Weak.

Then they get out of the sewer and just... shut the door on the cats, safe at last. Gee, uh.. close one? Majorly weak.

"Mulder, seriously, was that episode for real?"

..no answer..

"well that was just retarded."
